Unitary System

A package or unitary system contains all heating, cooling, filtration, humification, dehumidification and air handling equipment in one unit. Containing all major components in one unit makes installation simpler and less expensive than a built-up system.

A unitary system is typically installed on the roof and attached to ductwork, which aids in delivering conditioned air throughout the building. If more than one unitary system is installed on a large building, each system would serve a portion of the building.
