    • You have the right to correct inaccurate personal information about you, and you should immediately notify us if you believe the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date.
    • In certain situations, you can ask that we erase or stop using our personal information.
    • Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to decline consent and/or, if provided, to vary or withdraw consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the variation or withdrawal of your consent.
    • You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of your rights. We will not deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different level of quality of goods or services with respect to Consumers who choose to exercise their privacy rights.
    • Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to appeal our decision to deny your request, if applicable. If we deny your request, we will provide you with information on how to appeal the decision, if applicable, in our communications with you.
    • If you make a request to exercise the rights referenced above, we will require you to provide certain information for identity verification purposes. If you have an account with us, we may verify you through your login of your account. If you do not have an account with us, we may require you to provide additional information from which we can confirm your identity. You may authorize an agent to make a request to us on your behalf and we will verify the identity of your agent or authorized legal representative by either seeking confirmation from you or documents that establish the agent’s authorization to act on your behalf.
    • Certain personal information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. We need certain types of personal information so that we can provide the services to you. If you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to access our services.

Our services are not designed for and are not marketed to people under the age of 16 or such other age designated by applicable law (“minors”). We do not knowingly collect or ask for personal information from minors. We do not knowingly allow minors to use our services. We have not sold or shared (as defined by the CCPA) personal information in the preceding twelve months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, as defined by the CCPA, for purposes other than described in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121.

Service Logic does not process opt-out preference signals as defined in § 7001 of the California Consumer Privacy Act Regulations.

 

B. Additional Rights

 

Consumers in California also have the right to request that we provide you with the categories of personal information we have collected or disclosed about you in the last 12 months; the categories of sources of such information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting or disclosing your personal information; and the categories of third parties with whom we have disclosed your personal information.

Consumers may designate an agent to make CCPA requests on their behalf. For consumers who do so, we will take steps to verify both the identity of the consumer seeking to exercise their rights as described above, and to verify that the consumer’s agent has been authorized by them to make a request on their behalf by requesting a signed written authorization or a copy of a power of attorney.

9. Notice to Canadian Residents

This section applies to you if you are a resident of Canada. Individuals in Canada may have the right to lodge a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or an applicable provincial privacy commissioner.

It is our policy to comply with the privacy legislation within each jurisdiction in which we operate. Sometimes the privacy legislation and/or an individual’s right to privacy are different from one jurisdiction to another. This Privacy Policy covers only those activities that are subject to the provisions of Canada’s federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable.

This Privacy Policy does not impose upon Service Logic any obligations, or create or confer upon any individual any rights, outside of, or in addition to, those imposed by Canada’s federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable. Should there be, in a specific case, any inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and Canada’s federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable, this Privacy Policy shall be interpreted, in respect of that case, to give effect to, and comply with, such privacy laws.

It is important that the information contained in our records is both accurate and current. If your personal information happens to change during the course of our relationship, please keep us informed of such changes. In some circumstances, we may not agree with your request to change your personal information and will instead append an alternative text to the record in question.

Where permitted by law, we may collect, use, or disclose your personal information without your knowledge or consent.

10. Transfers of Information

The Services are hosted in and managed from the United States. We may transfer the information we collect about you to the United States and/or another country, which may not be deemed to have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. Applicable laws in the United States and/or other countries may allow the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities to access your personal information when in such country.

If you are a user located outside the United States or the country to which your information may be transferred, you understand (and, as permitted under applicable law, consent to) having your personal information processed in the United States and/or such country. When we transfer your information, we will protect that information as described in this Privacy Notice. As such, your personal information may potentially be accessible to law enforcement and national security authorities of that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Our use of the personal information we collect is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time such personal information is used. Depending on the type of change, we may notify you of the change by posting on this page.
